Why go All Inclusive?

Taking a holiday that includes everything and more can not only be restful, it can save you money as well. A holiday really should be all that you imagine it can be. And it can be just that without the worries, the tension, and the bother of reaching into your wallet to deal with the myriad costs that are bound to greet you at every turn on your trip. The answer is an all-inclusive holiday. And there are plenty to choose from.

Ever dreamed about visiting Greece, or Cuba or Las Vegas in the United States? If you were to book these holidays on your own, getting an airfare quote, picking a hotel, deciding on how much money you would need for food and excursions, it could be quite pricey. Let’s say you wanted to go from London to Athens, Greece for a week. The cheapest round trip right now is offered by Olympic Airways at £379.50. Then you would add on the hotel. The Golden Tulip Electra Palace Hotel in Athens has a five star rating, sits right under the shadow of the Acropolis, and is just a three minute walk to the center of the city. A standard double bed with daily breakfast for 1 adult, 7 nights will run you 1,018.08 GBP. That totals 1397.98 GPB. Now, you will have to add in funds for lunches and dinners, perhaps some snacks in between, and museum admission and tour fees. That could bring the total cost of the trip to somewhere near 2,000.00 GPB.

Now, let’s look at what you can get with an all-inclusive package. The “all” part of it varies with the resort. But the usual items that are included are ground transportation, meals, entertainment, drinks and most beach activities. If you stay on the hotel property for your entire vacation, you probably won’t have to pay any extra money at all. One thing you’ll want to check out before going on an all-inclusive holiday is whether the total bill contains tips, service charges and taxes. Some properties have options where it’s up to the consumer to decide whether they want to tip on their own, or instead have the food and drink tip charges added to their bill at check-out.

If you decide to leave your hotel, for dinner or a show, or dancing, you should expect to pay out of pocket for these excursions. Also, meals are generally included in most plans, but some hotels offer between-meal snacks. And most drinks, including alcohol are part of the package, but some properties may not include a bottle of wine you get at dinner. In some instances, a mini bar is part of the deal.

There are many advantages to booking an all-inclusive vacation. You can travel without carrying a great deal of cash. And knowing that you have prepaid your room, meals, drinks and activities is likely to make you feel relieved before and during your holiday. Another plus is that there are no big bills when you check out. And all-inclusive vacations present an opportunity to have new experiences and participate in activities you wouldn’t ordinarily do (like watersports, tennis, golf, exercise, etc.)

Take the plunge – and with cheapallinclusive it wont be expensive!
